Jen Bryant at Sacred Heart, Bryn Mawr, PA

Jen Bryant visited my school on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She gave an incredible talk about her writing process. The students enjoyed her presentation and visited the library the next day looking for her books.

Jen won a Caldecott Medal for her picture book, A River of Words: The Story of William Carlos Williams. Her historical novel, Ringside 1925: Views from the Scopes Trial is an Oprah recommended book.

Jen taught writing and children’s literature at Wets Chester University and Bryn Mawr College.
